“Open Clipboard” is an application to open the clipboard contents with TextEdit.app or Preveiw.app.
When the clipboard contents is text, TextEdit.app is used to open the clipboard contents. When the clipboard contents is a kind of image, Preview.app is be used to open the data.
“Open Clipbaord” require permission to control your computer using accesibility features (GUI Scripting) to open images with Preview.app.
When the application is launched at the first time and clipboard contents is an image, following dialog will be displayed.
Pressing “Open System Preferences” cause to open “System Preferences” and to add the applicaiton into the “Accessibility” list of the “Privary” tab of the “Secutiry & Privacy” pane. Turn the check box of the application on.
