Enable Creator Code

The contents of this page is effective in Mac OS X 10.5 or before.

There may be some files ignoring creator codes. When you set creator codes for such files, QuickFileType will display a sheet dialog for the confirmation to remove causes ignoring creator codes.

If you press "OK" in this dialog, creator code for the file is renabled and creator code and type code are set.

If you press "Cancel" in this dialog, creator code an type code are set without enabling creator code.
